Packing from expanded PTFE with graphite. It is suitable for work in different media at high peripheral speed. It is characterized with improve heat conductivity than other PTFE packings.
Advantages
AVKPACK® 1120 is suitable to be used both for acids and for bases. The packing has a very low shrinkage, does not lose volume, it is very flexible, does not grow old, and does not get fragile.
Application
AVKOPACK® 1120 is used for the sealing of pumps, mixers, valves, and sliders. The packing is applicable in all chemical environments but mainly used for sealing chemical aggressive environments, water and steam up to 280oC. The fields of usage are in sealing installations and equipment in the chemical, pharmaceutical, oil refining and food processing industries, especially in the chemical departments of the power supplying industry, etc. Due to the graphite the packing has very good heat conductivity, which determines the possibility to be used for sealing shafts in high-motion pumps with high speed in the peripheries.
