Flat gasket for flange connections, produced from 100% multi-directionally expanded PTFE with a higher density area. The sealing has lower leakage rate compared to standard gasket, cut from ePTFE sheet.

Application
AVKOSEAL® 35Y needs lower contact pressure, respectively lower torque at tightening of the sealed connection. This makes AVKOSEAL® 35Y suitable for sealing of both massive and thinner, fragile flanges. The material is applicable for all industries within the chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceutical sectors, etc.
